Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo through our authentication provider, Supabase. If you fill out your profile, we also store what you add: username, bio, links, country/city, and (optionally) disability tags. Anything you submit — artwork, comments, likes, exhibitions, follows — is stored too.

How we use it

To create and display your public profile and submitted artwork, and to power community features like likes, comments, exhibitions, follows, the games (find the piece, color by number), and artist stats. We don't sell your data, share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Weavo, and don't share your data beyond what's needed for them to do that: Google (sign-in), Supabase (database, file storage, and authentication), and Cloudflare (website hosting). None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Where it's stored

Data and images are stored with Supabase (hosted database and file storage) and served over HTTPS via Cloudflare. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth via Google, and we never see or store your Google password.

What's public

Weavo is a public community gallery, not a private space. Your profile (name, avatar, username, bio, tags, country/city, links), submitted artwork, exhibitions, follows (including who you follow and who follows you), and comments are visible to anyone who visits the site.

Your choices

• Edit or remove your profile info anytime from your profile page.
• Delete comments or artwork you've posted individually.
• Report content or accounts that violate our guidelines directly from the site.
• Block other users.
• Delete your entire account at any time, from the app or the web, with no need to contact us — see Delete Your Account for how, and exactly what's removed.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your profile, submitted artwork, comments, likes, follows, exhibitions, and uploaded images immediately and permanently on our systems; residual copies in our infrastructure provider's routine backups age out on their normal rotation.

Security

All traffic to Weavo is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We never see or store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Supabase Auth via Google OAuth.

Cookies & sessions

We use local storage/cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your language, and to note once a day that this browser has already been counted as a visitor (a date and a yes/no — no identifier).

We also use Google Analytics to see which parts of the site get used, so we can improve them. It sets cookies recording things like the pages you visit, your approximate region, and your device and browser; that information goes to Google and is handled under Google's privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies. Blocking it in your browser or with an extension leaves every Weavo feature working as normal.

Children

Weavo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the campaign evolves. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the current version.
