What is Weavo

Weavo is a collaborative art project. Anyone can submit a piece of art and watch it become part of something larger — every submission is placed into a shared weavo based on its dominant color, building a picture that only comes together because everyone contributed a piece.

Why we built this

The project centers neurodivergent and neurotypical artists working side by side, with no separation between the two. Every piece counts equally toward the whole, regardless of who made it or how.

How it works

Pick a project, upload your art, and it's automatically placed in whichever cell of the weavo its average color best matches. Once a project fills up, the full picture is revealed.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo through our authentication provider, Supabase. If you fill out your profile, we also store what you add: username, bio, neurodivergence tags, links, and country/city. Anything you submit — artwork, comments, likes, saves — is stored too.

How we use it

To create and display your public profile and submitted artwork, and to power community features like likes, comments, saved artwork, and artist stats. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Data and images are stored with Supabase (hosted database and file storage). Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth via Google, and we never see or store your Google password.

What's public

Weavo is a public community gallery, not a private space. Your profile (name, avatar, username, bio, tags, country/city, links), submitted artwork, and comments are visible to anyone who visits the site.

Your choices

• Edit or remove your profile info anytime from your profile page.
• Delete comments or artwork you've posted.
• Email us to request full account deletion — we'll remove your account and associated data.

Cookies & sessions

We use local storage/cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Weavo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Community-submitted content

Artwork, bios, and comments are submitted by individual users, who retain full ownership and rights to their own work. Submitting a piece here doesn't transfer ownership to Weavo — it places a copy into the shared weavo and public gallery.

Self-reported, not clinical

Neurodivergence tags and bios are self-reported by users for community context only. They are not medical or diagnostic information, are not verified, and shouldn't be relied on as such. Weavo is not a medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic service, and isn't affiliated with any clinical or advocacy organization.

User opinions

Comments and profile content reflect the views of the individual users who posted them, not the views of Weavo.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep things running smoothly but can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Changes

This disclaimer and the Privacy Policy may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
